Inspired by a river in the Amazon Rainforest, this hypnotising hand-varnished boxed canvas by Robert Oxley boasts psychedelic colours that slowly drip down the canvas like the careful tread of a jaguar stalking its prey.

Robert says: “A magnificent and mysterious cat – feared and revered by all who see it – the jaguar is part of our psyche and has been used as a totem (spirit) animal for millennia.”

Emerging from a dark black background, the contrasting colours of bright blue and fiery red pop and symbolise the ferocious jaguar who, according to Robert, “prowls the jungle under the cover of darkness”.
