Gaming nostalgia meets contemporary pop art.
With his unmistakable red cap, wide-eyed expression and gloriously exaggerated features, The Red Plumber is a playful collision of familiar imagery and Robert Oxley’s distinctive artistic style.
Layers of vivid red, electric blue and flowing colour give the character an almost molten appearance. What begins as a cheerful reminder of gaming’s golden age becomes something altogether bolder, with the attitude of street art and the visual impact of contemporary painting.
The Gallery Edition brings this colourful character to life on a generous 24″ × 20″ boxed canvas.
Equally at home in a contemporary living space, creative studio or dedicated gaming room, this is artwork designed to provoke a smile and start a conversation.
